  • Lectures: every Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm-8:00pm            

  • Lab hours/Skills training: In-Person Times: Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm-8:00pm            

  • Clinical: 16 hours

A Health Care Technician is a highly skilled professional dedicated to supporting medical teams and ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare facilities. They perform a variety of essential tasks, including patient care, medical testing, and administrative duties, to improve patient outcomes and maintain a safe, efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in patient care by monitoring vital signs, providing mobility support, and offering basic medical care.

  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as drawing blood, collecting samples, and preparing them for laboratory analysis.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts.

  • Ensure proper hygiene and infection control procedures in patient areas.

  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care

Admission Document Requirements: State-Issued ID, Social Security Card, High School Diploma/Equivalent/ or Transcript

Additional Requirements: Background Check, TB Skin Test, Covid Vaccine oe negative test result, Physical
